for XML and XSL and DOM, which provide the basis for XML documents. A very
handy refernce book.
XML Design and Implementation
Paul Spencer / Paperback / Published 1999
The book is very Microsoft oriented, meaning it is geared toward IE5 and ASP.
It explains the theory of XML, discusses the Document Object Model, shows how
to mark up documents in XML and how to render them with IE5. It shows how to
put the XML theory into practice.
Designing Distributed Applications
Stephen Mohr / Paperback / Published 1999
It is a comprehensive book on how to program for the next millenium; an advanced book for programmers who know JavaScript and VBScript. It covers
XML, ASP, LDAP and MSMQ. To use the book properly you need IE 5.0 and IIS
because the examples rely heavily on it.
